410 Stainless Hex Washer Head Self-drilling Roofing Screw w/ EPDM Sealing Washer
The hex washer head self-drilling screws are made of stainless steel 410 and have a sheet metal thread with a self-drilling cutting point to pierce through metal steel, aluminium, wood etc., including structural steel. Stainless Steel 410, as general Martensitic steel, is harder than stainless 18-8/304 or 316 after being hardened, very ideal choice for metal sheet, structure steel etc.
The higher the TEK number the larger the drilling point to pierce heavier gauge metals. Different stainless mode for different applications.
Hex head self drilling sheet metal screws are installed with a wrench or hex nut setter. A rubber-bonded washer compresses to form a watertight seal.
