304/316 Stainless Steel Torx Countersunk Head Double Thread(Fine + Coarse) Decking Screw, 4 Nibs, Wideboard Decking Screw
The double thread decking screw is also called boardwalk decking, intended for use in large decking boards and boardwalk decking. Countersunk with nibs under the head helps with countersunking. Type 17 auger point helps the screw penetrate quickly into the decking.
The fine thread(close to head) locks into the decking while the coarse thread into the timber joist. It also retains the screw strengths ,not allowing the decking timber to move down the screw shank during shinkage.
